Ondara Charity Race: Timetable
The day kicks off with a warm-up at 9:00 by Avenida General Bosch (next to the bullring). Expect music, stretching, and the official cheque handover to AECC before the big start.
At 10:00, the runners set off. Walkers will take on a 4 km route while runners facing a slightly longer 5 km challenge. The course winds through Ondara’s Xebics, Mollons, and Alfatares districts, offering a proper tour of the town before looping back to the finish line at the bullring.
Post-race, the fun continues. Entertainment is lined up for participants.
Councillor for Sports, Jordi Ruiz, praised AECC’s tireless work and encouraged everyone to get involved. “The more runners, the more funds we raise, and the stronger the message of solidarity,” he said.
“Last year’s event saw a huge turnout, and the hope is to break that record once again.”
So whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just in it for the post-race atmosphere, Ondara’s Charity Race is a brilliant way to support cancer research.
