The streets of Calpe’s old town will once again come alive with its Christmas Fair from 5 to 8 December.

The event brings together local businesses and associations and fills the town with the festive atmosphere everyone looks forward to at this time of year.

The fair will spread across Calle Llibertat, Calle Justicia, and Calle Mayor, along with Plaza de España. Plaza de la Villa, Plaza Mestre Llopis, Plaza Beato Francisco Sendra, Calle Santísimo Cristo, and Plaza Miguel Roselló. If you enjoy a good wander, you will be in your element.

This year, almost 40 stalls will be set up by local businesses and associations. Visitors will find typical products, crafts, traditional sweets, and plenty of Christmas-themed items. It is also a chance to support local charities and festive groups.

The fair is known for its festive atmosphere. There will be a photo booth, Santa’s House, a carousel, and traditional games dotted around the area.

Christmas in Calpe: Keeping you entertained

There will also be musical performances, parades, concerts, dance shows, workshops for children, storytelling sessions, and other cultural activities throughout the event.

The fair will open from 12:00 to 22:00 on 05, 06, and 7 December, and from 12:00 to 18:00 on 8 December.

This Christmas Fair forms part of the wider festive programme prepared by several departments of the Council. The celebrations begin on 29 November with the switching on of the Christmas lights, then continue through December and January.

Enjoy a festive season full of concerts, theatre, exhibitions, shop window competitions, and street parades. A performance of Swan Lake by the Kyrgyz National Opera Ballet, the San Silvestre race, youth activities, Page’s Day, and the traditional Three Kings Parade.
