The Santa Pola Health Centre and Gran Alacant medical clinic are organising Health Week from 11 to 14 May.
The programme includes a wide range of free activities designed to promote healthier lifestyles and wellbeing.
No registration is required for any of the sessions, although some activities will have limited capacity.
Activities for all ages
Over the four days, residents and visitors will be able to take part in:
• Memory and emotional wellbeing workshops
• Outdoor meditation and relaxation sessions
• Healthy walks
• Family activities
• Pregnancy and postnatal sessions
• CPR and first aid training
• Healthy eating talks
• Women’s health discussions
• Advice on screen use and digital habits
• A bachata workshop in Gran Alacant
There will also be a guided tour of the Santa Pola Health Centre, giving people the chance to see how the centre operates behind the scenes and become more familiar with its services.
All activities are free to attend.
A week focused on wellbeing
Councillor for Health Borja Merino said the initiative is aimed at promoting health “in the broadest sense”, including physical, mental and social wellbeing.
He also thanked healthcare professionals for their work, especially ahead of International Nurses Day on 12 May.
